My name is Mary Piasecki, my family is neighbors and friends with siblings, Gio and Alondra.

Why I'm fundraising

Gio and Alondra are two amazing Lindbergh kids who tragically lost both of their parents this past year. Gio is a junior in high school this year, to know Gio is to love Gio. He is well known at LHS, has a ton of friends and you can usually find him cheering on his Lindbergh friends at a football game, basketball game or many other school events. Gio is an awesome young man with some special needs. Alondra is the sweetest 7th grade girl. She is a beautiful fun-loving girl with an enormous heart. Gio and Alondra sadly lost their beloved mother to cancer last spring, they have been grieving their mother with grace when the unthinkable happened. Last Saturday, they tragically lost their beloved father when he unexpectedly passed away. Gio and Alondra have been through more in the past year than anyone should have to go through in a lifetime.

The impact of your support

Gio and Alondra's older sister Lorena is now the legal guardian of them. Lorena has a family of her own with small children. Lovingly adding two more children to her household will come with some challenges and unexpected expenses of raising two more kids. As a community it would be amazing if we could come together and show this wonderful family how much they are loved and supported especially during the holiday season. Thank you for your support.
