GIRL POWER! Central Softball Goes to D.C.

THANK YOU CENTRAL COMMUNITY THANK YOU! WE HAVE SURPASSED OUR ORIGINAL GOAL. We are exploring ways to use the additional funds to responsibly provide more opportunities.

Last week Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise visit to the Central High School softball team during their practice at the Oxford Community Center. And yesterday they got more good news, another surprise came when they were invited to the Women's History Month reception at the White House NEXT WEEK on Wednesday, March 27th.

The four team captains will represent Central Girls Softball, Central High School and St. Paul, MN. Most importantly they represent what it means to be a woman, an athlete and a scholar.

Please support this effort and send the captains, coaches and the athletic director to this once in a lifetime event. The turn around is quick! There are only 4 days to plan!

Your donation will remove financial barriers. Donations will cover the costs of: airline tickets, hotel, transportation and meals. We are all truly in this T.O.G.E.T.H.E.R. and we uphold the values of trust...outreach...growth...empathy...transparency...holding space...equity...respect.

*This in a joint fundraising effort with Central High School, the Central Sports Boosters and the Central High School Parent Advisory Council (PAC) We are a group of students, staff, parents, guardians, community members, and others with a connection to Central High School and Central Sports. We raise and distribute funds, support special projects and initiatives, foster communication between families and the school, organize volunteers, and find ways to show our appreciation. Note that the Central High School PAC is also a registered non-profit group, 501(c)(3) Organization.
