Girl Scout Troop 109075- Replace Theft

Hi Everyone,

My name is Sarah Podvin, and I am the troop leader for Junior Troop 109075. On Saturday, November 5th, I was at Central Park in Fairfield at around 8:20 am. I was coaching my 4-year-old daughter's soccer game. I had left my purse on the floor of my car and locked my doors. I figured being in the middle of my neighborhood at a friendly soccer game would be safe. Sometime between 8:40 and 9:00, the driver-side window of my car was smashed in, and my entire purse was taken. We were alerted about my car at around 9:10 am, and we started calling to report the theft and card fraud. Between 9:07-9:10 am, the thieves had already used my personal cards and the Girl Scout cards. They spent a total of $2,000 dollars on the Girl Scout card. I am trying to recuperate the Girl Scout's hard-earned money that the thieves spent.
