Girlbosskat’s Mom FB Scam Fund

Hi everyone! My name is Katarina (Girlbosskat) and this is for my mom, Alexandra. I was suggested to make a gofundme for her after she was scammed of $2,000 on a deposit for a surprise Toyota Camry for my current 09 Camry that’s on its last legs. She was trying to do something nice for me, was suggested by a friend at work that someone on Facebook she knew (it was actually a scammer pretending to be her coworkers old friend) was selling the car, asked her brother if it was a good idea (the deposit to secure the car) and he approved. Little did her and her coworker know, it was all a scam! Mistakes happen, lesson learned. But I really do appreciate all the people reaching out wanting to repay her since I cannot for this loss. It truly shows the power and kindness of strangers who may have gone through the same or recognize the love of a mother trying her best! I’m planning on telling her about the funds donated to her after she gets out of work because I don’t want her beating herself up inside any longer. Thank you guys again!!! She is going to be overjoyed.
