GIRLIE - A short film
Donation protected
"GIRLIE" is a film for the working class by the working class.
"GIRLIE" is a short film set under the backdrop of 1983, working-class East London that takes reference from both the New Romantics movement, West Ham FC fans and the British wave of heavy metal. It follows a working-class girl, PAM, who steals the wallets of the wealthy customers she serves at work, with the help of her co-worker/friend-with-benefits TEL all to gather money for her recently unemployed father RON.
I hope to raise £1250 to cover location costs, 80s TV gameshow rights, production design and costume costs to authentically replicate 1980s East London.
Any donation big or small will be appreciated to help make this film possible.
