Girls on the Run Henderson Fall 2022 Season

Our school (Henderson Elementary) started a Girls on the Run chapter in 2021, and we have been excited to offer this program to our students! Over the course of the 10-week season, the girls train twice a week to prepare for a 5k. But more important than the physical training is the social and emotional growth they experience with their amazing coaches.

Our Fall team had 16 girls, and our Spring team had 19. The program is so popular that we have had to turn students away because we have reached the cap. This season we are adding a third coach, which will allow us to take up to 24 students! We are starting Season Three in September, and we are sure to have a full team! The registration fee is $95, which makes it difficult for some of our potential athletes to join. We want to offer a discount, making the cost more manageable for our families.
