Help KS Girls Fly 1st Air Race

We are racing not only for the once in a lifetime experience, but to help promote public awareness of general aviation. We wish to educate and encourage female pilots about their roles in aviation and inspire more girls to pursue their dreams. After completing the race in the summer, we plan on speaking to schools about our experiences and helping promote aviation to younger generations.
This women’s-only air race was originally started by pilots including Amelia Earhart back when female pilots were banned from competing against men. As Kansans, we are honored to represent out state and its rich aviation heritage. Through gofundme, we are seeking help in subsidizing the cost of the registration fee, fuel, airplane rental, food and hotel.
Your donation will help Kansas girls (Tiffany and Taylor) compete in the 2015 Air Race Classic (ARC). The Air Race Classic is an annual, transcontinental, VFR all women cross-country race flown in daylight hours. Racers are given four days to complete the race which covers about 2400 statute miles.
