Giselle Needs Your Help After a Medical Crisis

Heyyy, my beautiful and amazing friend, Giselle (sometimes spelled Jessel) had a diabetic crisis and was hospitalized for a few days last month. That in and of itself was traumatic enough, but the recovery is proving more difficult that we originally thought. Her organs were shutting down and she is on a completely new pharmaceutical regimen. She really needs to be off work completely, but we live in a dystopian hellscape called late stage capitalism.

She has reduced her hours to part time at her fairly new job as human resources assistant for Arc of Lane County. This job has been a radical career change for her and an amazing opportunity to build a sustainable future for herself. Her employers are working with her as best they can, but remote work is not possible in her position.

We are hoping to raise enough funds to cover 3-4 months worth of rent/bills/groceries so she can take some precious time off from work to focus on her recovery. I am hoping we can provide her some breathing room. Stress will only impede her healing.
