Giulia's Ski Accident Fund
Donation protected
On Saturday January 14th, Giulia was skiing at Butternut Mountain in the Berkshires when she hit an ice patch, flew up, fell hard on her back, and hit a tree. She broke her right upper arm bone, her clavicle, and 5 of her ribs. In addition she suffered a pneumothorax in her right lung and lacerated her liver.
After 11 days in the hospital and 2 surgeries with two different chest tubes later, she is back home in Brooklyn requiring extra care as she heals, only able to use her left arm.
As a result of the trauma, Giulia will not be able to resume her full time work as a freelance yoga instructor for some length of time.
Giulia is trying to generate enough funds to help cover medical and living expenses while she is healing. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
With Love.
