Give a friend a fresh start

Hello everyone,

We’re reaching out on behalf of a dear friend, Ronnie, who recently ventured to Pensacola in search of a better opportunity. After weeks of hard work, he secured a position and enlisted the support of Veterans of America for housing assistance.

We’re thrilled that things are falling into place for him because, quite frankly, if anyone deserves it, he does. In the face of adversity, he’s proven time and again that he won’t give up. Eric and I couldn’t be prouder of him.

Ronnie is not typically the one to ask for help, but pride aside, he knows this will be a huge aid in his new beginning. Before creating this fundraiser, we asked for his consent to share his journey with the world. After some consideration, he agreed to pursue this option for those offering assistance.

We’re here to ask for your support through any donations, whether monetary or in the form of housing essentials. He arrived in Pensacola with just a backpack and needs bedding, kitchenware, bathroom essentials, and more.

Additionally, we’re working to reunite him with his Doberman, Colton, who is currently in Austin, TX. If anyone is traveling from that area to Pensacola and could help, we’d rather compensate someone we know and trust than go through shipping.

Every little bit helps, whether it’s for a meal or a few pillows. Your generosity will go a long way in helping Ronnie establish a home as he gets back on his feet.
