Give a Sewing Machine, a Stitch of Hope for a Girl in Nepal!
Tax deductible
This fundraiser aims to provide sewing machines to vulnerable girls in Nepal, giving them the skills and opportunities to escape the dangers of poverty and sex trafficking.
• 37% of women in Nepal are married before the age of 18 (UNICEF, 2016)
• 27% of Nepali women are victims of Domestic Violence (Nepal Health, 2022)
• The average monthly household income is only $600 (Nepal Ministry of Labor)
• 40,300 Nepalis women are trafficked in the last 2 years (US State Dept., 2022)
We support a sewing school in Kathmandu. Every 4 months a new class of young women complete their course to become a seamstress in rural Nepal. Go Global is committed to providing each student with a new sewing machine upon graduation!
These sewing machines mean more than just fabric and thread – they mean hope, safety, and a brighter future for girls in Nepal. Help us help them build a sustainable career and life!
Your generosity offers real hope. Give a Gift Today!
Any amount is greatly appreciated.
