Give Athena a Chance at a Pain-Free Life

Athena is a 4-year-old dog who has been enduring constant pain due to a severe dental issue that requires immediate extraction. Unfortunately, this has made her life incredibly difficult. She's become withdrawn, grumpy, and is often seen isolating herself in her crate—her way of coping with the pain. She barely eats and is clearly suffering, but we’re doing everything we can to care for her.

We’ve considered surrendering her to get the necessary dental treatment, but Athena has behavioral challenges that make her difficult to place in a new home—she is not dog- or kid-friendly. We’re heartbroken at the thought of surrendering her, especially knowing the tragic outcome could be euthanasia. Athena is more than just a pet; she’s a beloved family member, and we are doing everything we can to give her the care she needs.

The cost of dental care for animals, especially an extraction, is unfortunately astronomical, and we’re struggling to afford it. That’s why we’re asking for your help.
