Give Baby Vincent a Chance at a Healthy Future

Donation protected
Our precious son Vincent was born into the world beautifully in May 2024, and he has been our greatest gift. For the first months of his life, he was incredibly healthy and the perfect baby: happy, well-rested, and engaging. But things slowly took a turn for the worse. The last few months have been a hellish nightmare that no words can describe.

Vincent has been struggling with systemic inflammatory issues and various other internal problems that we need to get properly diagnosed; his symptoms have been presenting as severe eczema (particularly all over his face), 24/7 itching, acid reflux, and general discomfort. This all makes it impossible for him to sleep, play, and live normally. It has been the most demoralizing, devastating time of our lives as parents. Each day is full of tears, pain, and various amounts of cream and herbs and medicine. If we do not get all of this under control, he has a lifetime of debilitating illness ahead of him.

We have tried so many different treatments and some have offered relief, but they are all temporary and only last for a few days until he is fighting another severe flare up. It has been an emotionally and physically draining cycle of getting slightly better, then getting much worse again, and rinse and repeat. After trying just about EVERYTHING we could, we have finally found a pediatrician/certified functional medicine doctor who has extensive experience treating infants and children with systemic inflammatory issues and chronic illness like Vincent has.

For the first time since we have been battling this chronic illness, we feel a secure sense of hope that he will finally find healing over the next several months. Our new doctor will be doing more invasive testing that takes a look at his whole system and his organs, and his clinic is offering a whole year of intensive care and treatment so we can get to the bottom of his chronic issues. We are finally feeling confident that Vincent will find healing.

However, this treatment is very expensive and there is no insurance that will cover this immense expense. It costs $10,000 and that doesn’t include the lab tests, medicine, therapies, and mold/mycotoxin testing and removal. This is expected to cost thousands more. We have already spent a fortune on so many things to try and treat Vincent prior to this, and we are in desperate need of help to get to the finish line.

We debated asking for help, but we are finally at the point where we have no choice. Please consider helping our precious boy get the treatment he needs. This is our last hope, and if this chronic inflammatory issue isn't properly diagnosed and treated, it will only grow worse and worse until it transforms into a lifelong condition (perhaps even a neurological condition) that will forever alter the course of his life.

Thank you so much for your consideration and your time. I can only hope that our community will rally around our sweet boy, and we will forever be grateful to you.

Day-to-day life is debilitating and we aren't able to live normally. While my husband is at work, I am not able to leave the house because Vincent screams in the car seat and claws at his skin until he is bloody and raw. I'm not able to put him down for more than 5 minutes or else he scratches at himself until he is bloody and raw. I'm not able to cook normally or care for my toddler normally. We are trying to stay faithful, but things have just gotten worse and worse and we are losing hope.

(Note: I know many of you will be curious — Vincent has not been v@ccin@ted, and nobody in our family has a medical history such as this.)
