EAGLE'S WINGS SUPPORTING CHANGE: SCHOLARSHIPS-ORPHANAGE-RECOVERY

Eagle’s Wings Foundation supports organizations in the communities of the Villa Group and Tafer Resorts through annual grant programs. In addition, each year it hosts a special Auction Fundraiser at the Villa del Palmar Flamingos in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. To celebrate 25 years of civic engagement and support, Eagle’s Wings Foundation (EWF) Board of Directors has designated three worthy causes for its Silver Anniversary Special Fundraiser:

Scholarships for Employee Children - Access to education is an inherent right of every child. In Mexico, 47% of children do not attend school past age 15. For Indigenous children, the rate is 90%. Independently operated high schools are often the only option for education beyond junior high school. Tuition, uniforms, supplies, transportation, and other fees may be prohibitive, especially for families with multiple children. Your donation can help the children of the resorts’ employees continue their education and make their dreams come true.

Casa Hogar Maximo Cornejo Orphanage - This safe haven provides children in need with essential resources and unconditional love. With dedicated caregivers and a nurturing environment, these children are given the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive amidst their unique circumstances.

Horizonte de Paz - There is hope for individuals and families combating the challenges of substance use disorder, depression, and personality disorders. By addressing the complex interplay of environment, lifestyle, health, and psychological wellbeing, Horizonte de Paz AC facilitates a process of healing and recovery, and offers a foundation upon which individuals can rebuild their lives and restore their family dynamics.

These three causes exemplify the spirit of compassion and make a substantial impact on the community. They address immediate needs and also invest in the long-term growth and well-being of individuals, and create an environment where all have the chance to flourish.

In honor of Eagle’s Wings 25th Silver Anniversary, please consider donating $25 to directly impact the lives of those in need. We hope to raise $5,000 online to contribute to our total fundraising goal of $20,000. All donors of this GoFundMe fundraiser will be listed on an Appreciation flyer that will be distributed to the attendees of the auction event.
