Hi. I’m Kate, a Junior Coordinator from Palmerston Rugby Union Club.
The Reea family have been a generous, loving part of our club community for many years, through Pae’s coaching, Tumama’s managing, and Tautua’s playing.
We would often see the Reea family driving their big people-mover to pick up and drop kids home for training and games. When Tua moved away, the Reea family stayed and continued volunteering their time to help others.
No one could have predicted the terrible January day, when the Reea family’s life was turned upside down.
Kidney failure is a silent killer, and 90% of kidney function can be lost with no symptoms at all. Sadly, the Reea family learnt this when Pae was rushed to hospital and diagnosed with kidney failure.
Please don’t wait. Take the Kidney risk test and chat with your GP sooner rather than later.
To ensure Pae receives the best care possible, the Reea family have had to relocate. Pae hasn’t been able to see his beautiful family while he works to get well, and Tumama is holding the fort, readying the kids to move house with help from their family.
As you can image, relocating and today’s cost of living are a challenge. We’re all praying that Pae will transition to a home-care plan soon, but that’s a future hope. For right now, the Reea family could do with our help.
Please donate and help a family who always helps others. Let’s show support for Pae & Tumama and get the big man back doing what he love: coaching rugby.
