My name is David Smith, and I started my career in EMS in 1990. That same year, I met Donnie – first as my partner, then my supervisor, and later my assistant director when I became the EMS director. Throughout our journey together, Donnie has always been a pillar of strength, compassion, and dedication. He has spent his life serving others, both in our community and through his unwavering faith in God.

Now, Donnie is facing one of the toughest battles of his life – he is in need of a heart transplant. As someone who has given so much to so many, it’s time for us to give back to him.
