Give back to Mandi & Hana Kujawa

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you some very sad news about a member of our Bow Valley community. Long-time Banff-resident, Mandi Kujawa, passed away last week due to complications with Multiple Sclerosis.

Many of you will be well familiarized with Mandi. She has touched the lives of many children at Banff Elementary for close to thirty years. Her role as the school librarian was an avenue for Mandi to share her accomplished skills as an extraordinary storyteller, singer, songwriter, choir lead and guitarist. She was truly radiant!

Mandi gave her heart and soul to our community. Now, it is time for us to give back. Mandi’s greatest love in life was being a mother to Hana. It was very important to Mandi that Hana was well taken care of.

Hana has endured some significant health complications over the past several years. Hana will be undertaking another brain surgery in the fall in Nova Scotia. We are hoping to raise enough funds for Hana to support her with all her travel expenses and medical needs in the near future and beyond.

Both Mandi and Hana have endured many challenges. Our way to honor our beautiful friend, Mandi, is to support Hana.
