Give back to NLDC

My name is Brittney Gregory and I am one of the lucky dance teachers to work at Next Level Dance Center in Roseville, CA. NLDC is a youth dance studio established in 2016 that focuses on teaching real dance technique in a fun, engaging way.
I have known Alyssa and Amber Batson, co-owners of NLDC, for years and have been so fortunate to be a part of their journey in creating this dance studio we call a second home since day 1. Their generosity, kindness, and selflessness is endless. Over the years, they have offered several tuition scholarships and payment plans to help ensure that dancers are in the studio when their families may have financial burdens. They have organized many community outreach opportunities for the dance team to partake in and give back to communities in need. And they have instilled a positive team spirit in the heart of all of our dancers by promoting acts of kindness and encouragement to others, which led to our studio receiving the highly coveted "Studio Spirit Award" (pictured) last season at a local dance competition.
Due to Covid-19 and the temporary closure of our dance studio with an unknown date for reopening, they recently had to make the difficult decision to downsize from 2 locations and 4 rooms to only 1 location and 2 dance rooms. This will greatly affect our ability to attract new dancers and offer a plethora of class options. They have already suffered a significant loss in enrollment due to the inability to be in the studio at this time; although we have transitioned into teaching online and providing customers with a unique NLDCTV experience.
I know that this decision to downsize was so painful to make, but it was in the best interest of the studio as a whole and the desire to remain open. While they promptly applied for government funding that was promised to small businesses, the funds quickly diminished before they could receive any aid, and now NLDC is in a tough place financially with rent, utilities, bills, payroll for teachers teaching online, that the stress is beginning to mount. When proposing this GoFundMe, they hesitantly agreed. However, I firmly believe that they have given all of us SO much, that we can work together to give back to THEM during this difficult time. Please consider donating ANY amount as it will help so much! Please watch this Video capturing all 4 seasons of NLDC to witness the love of dance and friendship develop over the years.
