Give beloved art teacher fresh start after stroke

Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm fundraising on behalf of my parents, Ron and LeeAnne. Mom was diagnosed with Primary-Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in 1992 resulting in her becoming completely bedridden and unable to do simple daily tasks such as feeding herself or even brushing her hair. Dad has been her primary caregiver since then and has been responsible for all housework along with bathing, feeding her all meals, getting her dressed and transporting her to numerous doctor's appointments, and cooking all meals. Even while having both knees replaced and teaching full-time, he continued caring for her faithfully.
On July 8th, Dad suffered a stroke that affects his balance, fine motor skills, and caused double vision. Currently, he is in the ICU and has a drain installed to reduce pressure caused by the bleeding in his brain. His doctors are expecting about 7-10 days in the hospital and possibly needing time at a rehab facility along with specialized care after discharge. Whenever he does get to come back home, we do not expect him to be able to continue caring for Mom as he has been for the past 31 years as he needs to focus on his own recovery.
Over the years I've seen my Dad endlessly dedicate his life to bettering others' lives in any way he can. Along with filling the role of a caregiver, he was an art teacher for over 20 years and he poured so much into his students and loved every minute of it. It only seems fitting that we try to give something back to him after so many years of selfless sacrifice. With everything on his plate, it's been very hard to keep up with the housework along with making sure Mom had the best care possible and it's unfortunately reached a point of needing an overhaul to have a fresh, clean start when returning home. Going into this new season of life, I'm hoping to be able to make changes that will help improve the quality of life for both parents and allow my Dad to enjoy his retirement and focus on his health as a priority.
In order to get their home ready for Dad to come home, we're raising funds to cover the following:
-Renting a dumpster to clear out excess clutter in the house eliminating fall or trip hazards
-Temporary storage unit rental to store important items that need to be gone through
-Deep house cleaning
-The labor needed to clear out and organize the house
-The cost of specialized in-home care for both Ron and LeeAnne
-A 6-month allowance for daily living expenses including groceries
