Give Bombón a Second Chance

Both SARA and our rescue partner have been closed to new intakes.
But there are always exceptions…
This sweetheart was found on the street in the rain, completely unwilling to move—scared, cold, and pleading for help. She seemed to have completely given up. She was alone, and at just 15 lb and 6 months old, she was vulnerable to being attacked by other dogs. Her friendliness indicates she may have had an owner who abandoned her. She was terrified and desperate, and we couldn’t say no.
We are calling her Bombón. Like her namesake, this pup is super sweet and melts in your hands. She has visible mange and is likely loaded with parasites. She is in quarantine with an appropriate re-feeding regime and has already gotten Nexgard and a dewormer. She is scheduled for a full workup at the vet next week.
$250 will cover sterilization, vaccines, a full blood panel and fecal testing workup, multiple rounds of dewormer, & mange treatment.
Let’s show her what a real home is
