Give Camryn a Chance to Smile Again

Donation protected

Hi everyone, my name is Camryn and I’m writing this now because I’m all out of options and I could really use some help. I am the mother to a beautiful almost 2 year old boy named Elijah and while I’m so incredibly grateful to have my son, pregnancy gave me some big complications I truly didn’t see coming.

When I was pregnant, I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) which for those of you who don’t know is a severe case of nausea and morning sickness during pregnancy, but for me it meant being hospitalized numerous times for dehydration causing contractions, and throwing up at least 10+ times a day for the entire pregnancy and by the time my son was born I had lost 50 pounds and he was born on the smaller side because of these issues. Pregnancy also caused my thyroid disorder to get very out of hand since I wasn’t able to keep my medication down and sadly because of that it created the perfect storm in my thyroid for cancer to grow. When my son was 6 months old I got the call that I had cancer, and had to go through a full thyroidectomy, radiation treatment, and full body MRIs to make sure the cancer was gone and luckily it was and I am cancer free.

I thought the cancer was the worst that could happen to me from my pregnancy, but sadly the HG has caused issues that have grown insanely out of control and unless a miracle happens, this is something I’m not sure I’ll be able to financially recover from.

Even though I tried my best to protect my teeth from the stomach acid, sadly it has eaten away at my teeth to the point where I need very extensive dental work which includes 4 root canals, at least 5 tooth extractions which includes my front teeth and for those I will possibly need implants as well, 10+ crowns on my top and bottom teeth, and extensive repairing and filling of my other teeth. My anxiety when it comes to dental work is extremely high because it has always been so painful for me in the past, so I have to be under general anesthesia while this happens. The bill will be over $35,000 which includes the sedation, but I cannot afford to do this by myself. I do have insurance, but sadly they’re only covering $2,500.

My smile was always the one thing I loved about myself. I’ve always had great teeth and I only have had 3 cavities in my entire life before all of this occurred, and now my smile is gone. All I want is my smile back, and I could really use the help.

Every single dime donated will all go towards my dental bills so I can go on this journey towards getting my smile back and being able to feel like me again. This will cover just about everything to get my teeth back.

If anyone is able to help, I will be forever grateful to you.

Love,
Camryn Arduca
