Give Cyrus Clark a Leg Up Towards Stability

Hi! I hate to resort to this, but I'm not sure what else to do. Many of you know my brother, Cyrus Clark. But most of you don't know what he's been through in the past year.

He had one of his legs amputated below the knee due to a diabetic infection. He has not been able to work. He finally got approved to receive disability, but I'm sure you know that doesn't cover much.

However, he was turning things around. He got a car generously given to him by a friend and was able to get a job cooking two nights a week. His living situation has been challenging as well, but he is working on it.

Then a friend totaled his car (everyone is OK), and he only had liability insurance. The car is gone. He has no transportation, and getting around on a prosthetic leg is extremely difficult, as I'm sure you can imagine.

He very badly needs a car, and I can't afford to buy him one. I have been doing what I can, but I don't have much either.

Cyrus loves his kids, Jeremy and Miles, and he would really love to hold his head high for them again some day.

If this is not appropriate, I apologize. But I don't know what else to do. He needs transportation.

I figure he has a lot of friends among you, and I'm really hoping some of you can help him.

Anything left over after we find a car will go to his living expenses. But right now he can't even live in his car.

Cy has made us all laugh for many years, and now that he is missing a leg, he needs a leg up.
