Help Give Elle a Chance to Breathe Freely

Hello, my name is Janelle and this is my first time using GofundMe and I am not someone who likes asking people for money but my life was impacted so much by this girl, Elle, who lives at Lake Lowell Animal Rescue. They have A Dog for a Day program and I was able to take Elle out three days and one overnight so far. The first time I went to pick her up I was told about her snorting, and then I saw bubbles coming out of her nose when she breathed. I was informed that she has a bullet fragment in her nose and the surgery to remove it is $6,000. Too much for the rescue to spend and a reason why Elle has been at the rescue for 2 years without being adopted as no one wants to deal with it. This girl touched my heart with her big smile and kind soul. After being shot, abandoned, and rescued from a kill shelter, she has overcome so much and remains the most loving dog imaginable.

Riding with her in my car, seeing those bubbles coming from her nose and wiping her nose in my hair just made my heart go out to her. She just turned 4 and has so much love to give and life to live. She is a Husky/Australian Cattle Dog mix who should be able to run and play for hours. I took her for a bath and a walk that first day and when we got to my house she was tired and tried to rest. I got her on video, struggling to breathe, and being someone who can't stand a stuffy nose, I could not imagine being in her place, on the daily. I am just trying to help this girl out and would appreciate if you could donate or share the link with others.
