Houston’s Newest and Largest Farmers Market, We are Looking to Give All Farmers and Producers FREE Booths, reaching our goal would allow over 30 local farms an opportunity to sell for free every Sunday at the Bellaire Family Farmers Market making a guaranteed profit for the hard work they do to bring us health fresh food untouched by industrial processes.

We are set to start March 2nd and host a place where families gather to enjoy farm-fresh food, exciting activities, and a lively atmosphere unlike anything else in Houston.

The Vision

Our goal is to create the biggest farmers market in Houston—a weekly hub for over 200 vendors offering everything from fresh produce to handmade goods. But we’re not stopping there. Our market will also feature:

Why We’re Doing This

My background is in environmental science and biology, I’m deeply committed to improving both public health and the environmental conditions of Texas farmland. The best way to do this is by providing small responsible farms a marketplace to truly find success. While also providing access to additive-free foods and supporting the health of the community.

At its heart, a farmers market should be about supporting farmers first and foremost, but that isn’t always the reality. Many small farmers in and around Houston face steep challenges, including:

That’s why our market is designed differently. We charge only $20 to Organic Farmers, other Markets typically Charge $60. We are also proud to provide pre-setup tents and tables, making it easier for farmers and makers to focus on what they do best: creating amazing products.

Why It Matters

Houston currently has no farmers market that supports more than 80 vendors. Most markets charge high fees, making it difficult for small businesses to participate, for example the Houston Maker Market charges $700 for vendors while We charge Only $45 to makers and artists and offer a year round place to sell. Meanwhile, Houstonians lack access to an affordable, community-focused outdoor space where they can spend quality time with family and friends.
