Give free surf instruction to children in need.

Every $500 raised will grant a child the equitable opportunity to fall in love with the outdoors through Earth Optimist Club's free week-long surf instruction programs.

Our mission is to inspire a love for the environment to the youth through fun adventure sport recreation. We hold value in fostering a passion for kids in urban centers without the opportunity or access to the ocean or mountains, in order to incentive them to care about the environment and offer a productive community outlet for those who may be in need. Earth Optimist works as a fundraising platform to cover the cost of (oftentimes expensive) adventure sports like surfing/skiing/rock climbing and more, to provide equitable access to our environment.

These surf instruction programs (in partnership with Westerly Rec, Paddlesurf RI, Colorful Lineup, and others) will offer free comprehensive free opportunities for children aged 10-14 to integrate themselves into the outdoors and foster a passion for environmental community building. It will eventually offer skiing, hiking, climbing, fishing, and other outdoor recreation programs.
