Give Fun Magazines to Refugee Children!
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Esra Sula and I am the founder of Salaam Magazine, the first Islamic Children's Magazine founded in the US. Our magazine is one that combines topics in STEM, good manners, and Islamic knowledge, to enrich children's spiritual and educational development. Our new donation project, starting on June 20th for World Refugee Day, aims to help refugee children feel more at home by donating them copies of the fun and interesting Salaam Magazine, through OACES (Office of Adult and Career Education Services), Rochester International Academy, and Rochester Catholic Charities.
For every $10 donated, you will be gifting a wonderful magazine to an expectant refugee child, and supporting the minority populations in your country, helping them feel more at home, and increasing the diversity in your community. The lack of diverse resources in the US can be very alienating to young refugees from other countries, and Salaam Magazine is a resource that will make them feel more welcome and accepted, due to its embracing and representation of all cultural, religious, and racial populations. Our goal is to donate 600 magazines through the duration of this project.
Our original pricing for each magazine is $12. For this campaign, we will be donating the magazines at $10 a piece, giving $2 of support for each magazine to be donated.
Let's put smiles on every child's face together and help support the future of this country!

We will be giving updates on this donation project through our Instagram page.
