Hello, we’re the Hernandez family. Our beloved brother, Gabriel Hernandez, was brought to the hospital on Sunday for a headache. He had a history of cancer. Our family feared that the cancer came back. The cancer did come back, and it was all over his body. All of a sudden, he went into cardiac arrest, which led him to be brain dead. On the 15th of November, he was pronounced dead. There was nothing me and our family could do to stop this from happening.

Out of all our siblings, he was the kindest, smartest, and most hardworking. He had his struggles in life that kept pushing him down, but he always got up no matter what. He always knew how to make our family laugh and always joked around. He always had a positive attitude towards people he didn’t even know, and no matter what, he always helped people in need, no matter his financial situation. We love and miss our brother more than anything. Only God knows why he does the things he does.

We’re now planning how we do his funeral and the expenses that come with that. Anything helps truly from the bottom of our hearts; anything will help to put our brother to rest and give him our last goodbye from my family.

Hola, somos la familia Hernández. Nuestro querido hermano, Gabriel Hernández, fue llevado al hospital el domingo por un dolor de cabeza. Tenía antecedentes de cáncer. Nuestra familia temía que el cáncer volviera. El cáncer regresó y estaba por todo su cuerpo. De repente, sufrió un paro cardíaco que le provocó muerte cerebral. El 15 de noviembre fue declarado muerto. Nuestra familia y yo no podíamos hacer nada para evitar que esto sucediera.

De todos nuestros hermanos, él era el más amable, inteligente y trabajador. Tuvo luchas en la vida que lo empujaban hacia abajo, pero siempre se levantaba sin importar qué. Siempre supo cómo hacer reír a nuestra familia y siempre bromeaba. Siempre tuvo una actitud positiva hacia las personas que ni siquiera conocía y, sin importar lo que pasara, siempre ayudaba a las personas necesitadas, no importaba su situación económica. Amamos y extrañamos a nuestro hermano más que a nada, solo Dios sabe por qué hace las cosas que hace.

Ahora estamos planeando cómo haremos su funeral y los gastos que conlleva. Cualquier cosa realmente ayude desde el fondo de nuestro corazón, cualquier cosa ayudará a que nuestro hermano descanse y darle nuestro último adiós de parte de mi familia. Muchas gracias.
