Give Hailey a proper funeral

Donation protected
Last night (5/16/22) I got a phone call from my dad saying Hailey had been rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and her heart had stopped on the way but were able to bring her back. Once in the hospital the doctors called while my parents were on the way and said anyone who needed to be here should get here immediately. They were told that Hailey came in as sick as could be an described her as DIC (Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation). The doctor said that meant Hailey had blood clots and was bleeding in various spot of her body and that she would keep coding. They had a machine performing CPR each time she coded and continued to push fluids. They made the difficult decision to stop resuscitation and to let her pass. She passed around 8:30 p.m. surrounded by her Mom -Jessica, her dad - Jeff, brother - Dawson, brother - Dillon and myself.

My sister lived a colorful life. Between moving around the country and making friends with anyone she met. She was the biggest pain in my butt while we were growing up, always having to take her outside with me or to a friends house…. Not knowing those would be some of the best memories I would share with her. She loved big and hard, there was no in between. I’ve seen so many beautiful uplifting messages from her friends she has made over the years. Hailey was always proud of everyone and never wanted to see anyone down. She was always about that come up and made sure to let you know you were doing it!

She had two heart surgeries to fix a valve and remove her spleen. We thought that would be the end of all that when her second surgery went great and she was getting better.

I still remember the day in Mississippi when my mom told me she was pregnant with my first sibling. Everyday when I got home her belly was the first thing I kissed. Then we moved back to Wisconsin and shortly after I was a big sister! Meeting her for the first time was amazing for a 5 year old. But watching her fade away 23 years later was the most horrifying thing my family has watched.

So, I come here asking friends, family, and strangers to help me give my sister a funeral and to be able to bury or cremate her. Your donations would mean the world to myself and my family.
please help share this far and wide, like my sisters travel agenda.
