Give Hope, Find Hope Campaign
Tax deductible
The San Diego Diplomacy Council, a leader in international exchange programs, is hosting a fundraising campaign "Give Hope, Find Hope" to maintain our weekly virtual programs until September and promote hope for the future. For 40 years, the San Diego Diplomacy Council has created in-person professional, cultural, and educational experiences that help San Diegans and international leaders to better understand each other and find solutions to common challenges, like COVID-19.
Over the last two months, we have reached out to our alumni around the world to see how they are doing and to learn how they are dealing with COVID-19 in their communities. We were moved by the hundreds of responses we received. Thanks to their engagement and the support of diplomats and citizens in our network, we have delivered over 20 virtual events and a 4-week long Global Leaders Online Program for high school students since shelter-at-home orders were initiated in California with the goal of empowering people to drive positive changes in themselves, their community and the world.
Today, you can help us embrace change and look towards the future with hope. With international travel on pause for an indefinite time and our in-person programs and events canceled or postponed, we need your help to sustain this virtual programming that keeps us connected. Our organization has lost half of its revenue, and while we have taken measures to cut our expenses, we need to raise $40,000 by September to sustain our operations and online programs.
We need your help! Make a donation today to enable us to continue offering innovative virtual programs. If you are unable to give, please share this campaign #GiveHopeFindHope with your networks of globally-minded colleagues, friends, and family.
Thank you for helping us generate a better world -one of trust, dialogue, and collaboration among nations.
Sincerely,
Fabienne Perlov
Executive Director
