Chris Thompson is a committed husband, a community leader, educator, and musician. Chris and his wife Kathy, have changed the lives of people all over the world.
They recently found themselves facing insurmountable obstacles. At the beginning of October, Chris began to experience health challenges that were unexplainable. Pain infiltrated his body like he had never experienced before, but Chris continued to make every effort to teach and play bass in order to provide for his family. One day Chris was rushed to the Trauma Center and they discovered that infection had begun to move throughout his body. This was life threatening and he needed Emergency Surgery immediately. The infection was so severe that Chris needed two surgeries.
Due to the unexpected surgeries, Chris has not been able to work for the past few weeks and the doctors are recommending at least another 4 to 6 weeks for his recovery time. Medical bills and supplies, rent and utility bills and other household matters are a growing concern for the Thompson family during this time, due to Chris being the primary provider for his family. We are asking each person to give generously and help us bless this family and lift the burden.
We desire to raise 20K by November 30, 2018 to relieve the anticipated financial burden and make a great impact, the same way that they have impacted so many others. Let's pull together and make this happen. A community that supports one another, sustains hope in the hearts of its members!
