Give Jose Villavicencio the Farewell He Deserves

Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of my beloved spouse Jose Villavicencio, age 57.

Jose was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer On Mother's Day May 12th.
His primary physician had overlooked his symptoms of cancer and had incorrectly diagnosed him with pneumonia/bronchitis without doing further examinations to determine if his symptoms were more serious than indicated. He then became hospitalized in April, when he stated he was short of breath and his pain was unbearable in his rib cage region. At California Hospital he was then told he had terminal cancer and had to see his primary physician to be referred to an oncologist.

Since then, Jose has been suffering from multiple hospitalizations, becoming intubated from the lack of oxygen to having surgery to have a permanent tracheostomy as seen in these photos. He has endured and suffered this illness and has succumbed to his injuries due to this disease in which his cancer had spread to his stomach and his kidneys, which led to kidney failure. On August 31st he had a massive heart attack which lead to his death.

Jose came to the United States wanting to offer himself a better quality of life than in Mexico, and financially provide for his daughters in Mexico.
He did not leave a will or anything of monetary value to pay for his funeral expenses His daughters in Mexico have not been in contact since August 31st (Since he passed) and have not offered to donate to this matter.

I hope his story reaches out to everyone's noble heart. I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to read the misfortune me and my family are going through.

As we navigate through this difficult time, we are reaching out to our community for support with funeral expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and help us give Jose the farewell he deserves.

Thank you for your kindness, love, and support during this incredibly challenging time. God bless you all.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Diana Tineo

Diana Tineo
