Give JT the gift of mobility, he's blessed so many

Hello, My name is Misty Edomwande and I am helping to raise funds for coach John Thiesen(JT). Many of you know him as a pillar of our community – a track coach, mentor, father figure, and unwavering prayer warrior. Since 2007, JT has been battling a debilitating neck issue that began with herniated discs and was made worse when the first doctor botched surgery. The result was more herniated discs and a fusion surgery that fell apart in JTs neck! Despite undergoing four corrective surgeries, two of which had multiple parts, the pain has left him unable to perform even basic tasks like going for a walk, jogging around the neighborhood, or doing house chores. Due to JT's condition, he has not been able to work a full-time position in over a decade and as a result; Shannae, JT's wife, has carried the family on her back in every way. The hope for both of them has been finding an answer to this so that they could be free to live again! Throughout this painful, exhausting, life-altering journey; JT's faith has never wavered. He has remained faithful to God when many would have given up. Most days, JT can't get out of bed because the pain is so severe. Some days the pain is so bad that he gets physically sick. Although JT has spent many years challenged in his health; he never stopped fighting. He has spent years praying and researching MDs that specialize in the procedure that he so desperately needs. The good news!!!! JT has found a renowned, Orthopedic Surgeon who has agreed to give JT his life back. If you know anything about disc replacement surgeries; they are not covered by all insurance companies, so unfortunately all costs are out of pocket. That includes pre-op & post-op.

Community, those of you who know JT know how much of a blessing he was to the FPU community whether you were his athlete or not. He always went above and beyond for people and worked tirelessly because he was passionate about impacting people's lives. Please, help me give JT and his beautiful wife their life back by raising the funds needed for his surgery.
