Give Kristen a Usable Truck!

Hi my name is Tasha and I’m fundraising for Kristen. I met last year when I joined NBHA OH07 she quickly became a great friend to me!

She paid Tracey Overy over $6000.00 to have her truck fixed up mechanically and body as well as make her a bed out of diamond plate. It was originally supposed to be done over last winter, well spring came and went with no truck, our whole NBHA season came and went with no truck. Over 8 months he had this truck. We all pulled together to make sure Kristen and Crackers could get to our races but of course Kristen wouldn’t let us do that for nothing. So between paying for her truck to be fixed and then all of us she is out a ton of money for her truck.

He finally got her truck “done” but told her she couldn’t pick it up until midnight and she was to come alone! And this was only after making a few facebooks posts talking about how sad she was she still didn’t have her truck. What she saw was absolutely not what she paid for. A metal framed wooden bed that was slapped together with awful welds. Parts hanging down from the truck, no trailer plug just a cut off wire, engine light on and more. And now because of the way the bed was built her truck is useless, there is less than an inch of clearance between the “bed” and tires with her horses in her trailer.

We are trying to come together to raise the money to get her at least a steal flat bed that is functional for her truck as well the rest of the parts needed to fix it correctly. The labor has been donated already by Klay and Kayla Meyer and the 4000.00 would at least allow us to get her a bed! All funds are going directly to Klay to allow him to get to work asap for Kristen!

Kristen rallied the troops this spring and summer to get over 20 stalls paid for NBHA worlds including mine, I feel the least I can do is try to help get her a functional truck! She is the most giving person I know and I’m proud to call her my friend, hell at this point she is family. Even if it’s $5 I’d love for us all to show her our support!
