Give Lola the Gift of Clear Vision

Donation protected
Lola is a former shelter dog who was in protective custody in Portland, Oregon away from the public. She was housed in a security section of the shelter for over two years where she was not allowed human interaction over a pending court case. Lola in over two years did not get one walk, seeing other dogs being taken by volunteers for theirs, not one pet, not one fetch, the same dry kibble everyday, and not even one shake. She was released after her court case was dismissed and found a loving foster home who took her in before being euthanized where she is thriving and recovering from all she went through.

She has a long road, but has already been spayed and has regular walks, playdates, and car rides with her new friends who come to spend time with her. She absolutely loves car rides, pup cups, rolling around in the grass, and recently had her first cheeseburger meal at Shake Shack. She is one of the most loving and loyal dogs.

Lola had Cherry Eye surgery the same time as her spay, but unfortunately, the surgery failed and she needs to have a second surgery by animal eye specialists in Beaverton, Oregon. We want to see her have the best & most fulfilled life she greatly deserves, and we think this is a great first step on the road to find her forever fairy tale home that she so much deserves
