Support Kosovo Shelters of Domestic Violence
Donation protected
Let’s Give Love is a fundraising campaign aimed at raising money to support Kosovo Domestic Violence Shelters.
Issue
Domestic violence has surged since the start of lockdown measures in response to Covid-19. The number of women and children seeking institutional help has increased significantly. Domestic Violence Shelters in particular are in tremendous need for additional financial support, in order to provide shelter, emotional support, safety, food and clothes to women and children.
Kosovo Shelters for Victims of Domestic Violence
Shelters are a safe place where victims of domestic violence and their children are granted temporary accommodation. Shelters also provide counseling to victims seeking emotional support in these challenging times.
We have initiated this campaign to show our solidarity and support to our most loved ones.
We believe that in these difficult times, an act of kindness brings out the best of who we are!
Therefore we invite you to donate in order to keep safe our women and children, for the eight licensed Shelters of Gjakova, Gjilan, Mitrovica, Ferizaj, Prishtina, Peja, Prizren, and Novoberda.
About Transformational Leadership Program Alumni Association: This campaign is initiated and managed by TLP Alumni Association, on behalf of the Shelters. TLP Alumni Association is a volunteer professional association of nearly 300 alumni who completed master degree studies and professional certificate programs in the United States as part of the TLP scholarship program funded by USAID and Kosovo Government.
