Give Mango time

Hi, my name is Natalie and I’m fundraising for Mango, the most loveable cockapoo. Mango is a litter sister to my Pepper, and also the fur baby for my Sister, Sian, her husband Tim, and their girls Willow and Poppy.

Mango is only seven years old and was recently diagnosed with Sarcoma cancer, with a huge tumour behind her ear. It is growing quickly, so we’re keen to act to get the support she needs. After several consultations and being transferred to three different Vet practices now, her only options are to have a CT scan (£3,500), and potential removal of tumour and the ear (c.£6,500) - assuming it hasn’t spread further, or an electric treatment and chemo at c.£1,500 per treatment and as yet we don’t know how many that will be.

While Mango has insurance cover, the limit is £3,000, which is already nearly used from the various consultations (£500 for one next week) and tests/biopsies.

Sian and her girls are naturally devastated. What makes this even worse is that Mango was a gift from our Mum who sadly passed in 2021 with Lymphoma. Mango has been a huge comfort to Sian and the girls through some rough times.

She’s not just a pet, she really is part of the family and loved by so many who know her, bringing a little ray of sunshine whenever you meet her.

Willow and Poppy are doing everything they can to raise money, including making and selling bracelets and selling their toys. Two young and very kind hearts that just want to get Mango the help she needs to be pain free, comfortable and hopefully have a few more years yet as part of their little family.
