Give Mark Clark the Burial He Deserves
Donation protected
My name is Sheila Clark. My husband, Mark Clark, is the firefighter that lost his life to lung disease & cancer. He had part of his left lung removed on June 27th. He had many setbacks, from fluid overload to developing pneumonia, then contracted MRSA and a staph infection. Along with being diabetic, his body just couldn't fight long enough to overcome all this.
My husband was a Navy veteran for 10 years, honorably medically discharged, and a proud father of 3 and grandfather to 7 beautiful grandkids. Mark also was a full-time Ferry Pass volunteer firefighter for 35 years. Mark did not have life insurance, and the VA won't pay for a funeral outside of Barrancas. I need help in giving Mark a funeral that he wanted and deserved. Mark wants to be buried with his parents. That cost is much more than we all thought. I do realize I'm asking for a lot; this is the amount quoted to me between Faith Chapel and the cemetery. PLEASE HELP ME LAY MY HUSBAND TO REST. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
UPDATE :
The costs for the funeral we wanted to give him are going to be to much. Unfortunately, we won't be able to bury him with his parents like he wanted. He will have to be cremated, and until everything is finalized we are having to pay the funeral home fees for holding him. We are still in the process of setting up a memorial service with Marcus Pointe Baptist Church. We will update as details happen. Thank you for any and all help !
