Give Memorable Shirts And Socks To Your Student!

Traditionally, our floor (which we affectionately call 'FOSO') gets floor shirts/socks for the students to wear for the rest of the year. The upperclassmen wrap them up in wrapping paper, and we have breakfast time one morning and surprise the Freshmen with the gifts (there are, of course, enough items for each student, not just Freshmen).

If each family considered contributing $30, we would have enough money to order the custom shirts and socks for each student on the floor and one for our beloved housekeepers. The designs would be centered around our theme verse, Matthew 5:14 - "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden". We have centered many of our small groups around this verse and seek to exemplify it daily.

Gifts of more than $30 would be accepted as well, and it would help offset the cost for some students who might be less financially stable or come from different family backgrounds so that everyone can receive a gift on our makeshift Christmas Morning!

Your son does not know about this special event. I am trying to make it a surprise for the students, so I would appreciate you keeping it a secret until the event takes place on December 10th!
