Don’t Let MS Win: Help Miguel Reclaim His Life

Donation protected
Hi,

My name is Miguel Mitchell, and I’m asking for your help with something that’s become critical for me. I’ve been living with MS for over 24 years. For most of that time, I managed to stay mobile and independent thanks to alternative treatments that weren’t covered by insurance but kept me out of a wheelchair for years.

A few years ago, I raised funds for TVAM jugular ballooning procedure, which changed my life (Thank you to everyone who donated the last time). It brought back my vision, cleared my brain fog, and slowed the progression of my MS. Those improvements gave me hope and a few more stable years. But today, my condition has worsened. My mobility is almost completely gone, and I will soon be relying on a wheelchair to get around.

I’ve found a treatment that could be my last hope: Mesenchymal Stem Cell Therapy (MSC Therapy). This therapy uses stem cells to repair the damage caused by MS, and the results are remarkable. Studies show that:

-40.4% of MS patients experience significant improvements.
-32.8% remain stable.
-Only 18.1% see further progression.

This treatment could stop my MS from worsening and even give me back some of my mobility. The clinic I’ve found is based in Mexico and is run by Dr. Ernesto Romero Lopez; a leading expert in stem cell therapy. While the cost of the procedure is much lower in Mexico than in the U.S., $60,000 USD remains far beyond what I can afford.

But this isn’t just about me. If this procedure works, I want to use my experience to start a foundation that will help others like me access this life-changing treatment. People shouldn’t have to lose hope or watch their lives deteriorate simply because they can’t afford it. This treatment and the hope it brings should be available to everyone.

Here’s where you come in. I’m asking for your help to raise the $60,000 USD to get this procedure done. Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to walking again and starting something bigger to help others fight this disease. Even if you can’t donate, sharing my story could help reach someone who can.

For reference, here’s a study from the Journal of Clinical Medicine https://www.mdpi.com/2077-0383/12/19/6311 that explains more about MSC Therapy and its success with MS patients.

This is a chance for me to reclaim my life and turn my struggle into hope for others. Thank you so much for reading my story and for any support you can give.

With gratitude,
Miguel Mitchell
