Give Mi'layah the Peaceful Rest She Deserves

On October 13th, our family was struck by an unimaginable loss. Our sweet, vibrant Mi'layah, just 4 years old, tragically fell from a 5th-story apartment window. Her passing has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled, and we are struggling to come to terms with this devastating accident. As we grieve, we are also faced with the unexpected and overwhelming costs of laying her to rest. We are reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers to help us honor Mi'layah’s memory with a proper funeral and give her the beautiful farewell she deserves.

 

Mi'layah was a ray of sunshine in our lives. She was always full of happiness, and her joyful spirit touched everyone who met her. She had a deep love for her family, especially her siblings, with whom she loved to spend time playing, singing, and dancing. Mi'layah's favorite colors were pink and purple, reflecting her sweet and vibrant personality. She had a huge heart and was so kind, so caring, and always eager to help. She adored the simple things in life, like her favorite fruit, bananas, and her love for the water. Swimming was one of her greatest joys; she loved splashing around and enjoying the freedom the water gave her. Mi'layah was smart, playful, and beautiful, and her memory will forever be a part of our family.

 

The sudden loss of Mi'layah has placed a tremendous emotional and financial burden on our family. We were not prepared for such a tragedy, and we are struggling to meet the unexpected costs of her funeral and burial.
