24hr readathon for resources for Pioneer Special School

Hello, my name is Alice and on 23rd August 2024 I am going to read books for 24 hours to raise money for Pioneer Special School. The school holds a special place in our families life as my brother attends the school and the help and understanding he has been given and still gets from the staff there is truly wonderful.

I have decided to do this so that teachers can buy resources for their classroom to help further their children’s education and development and for their needs. The school is split into 4 sections, Lower, Middle, Higher and Further Education so I will be doing 4 of these over time and this first readathon will be for the Lower part of the school.

The books I will be reading are:

- The Super Sunny Murder Club edited by Serena Patel and Robin Stevens

- Good Different by Med Eden Kuyatt

- Lightfall: The Girl and the Gauldurian

- Cross My Heart and Never Lie by Nora Dåsnes

- Things You Find in A Poet’s Beard by A.F. Harrold
