Qurbani 2020
Qurbani is an annual animal sacrifice performed in the days of Eid-ul-Adha in the blessed month of Dhul Hijjah for the sake of Allah. This is a religious ritual commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibraheem alayhissalam to sacrifice his son for the sake of Allah azza wajjal.
Aisha (ra) narrated, ‘There is nothing dearer to Allah during the days of Qurbani than the sacrificing of animals. The sacrificed animal shall come on the Day of Judgement with its horns, hair and hooves (to be weighed on a person’s good deeds). The sacrifice is accepted by Allah before the blood reaches the ground. Therefore, sacrifice with an open and happy heart’. (Tirmidhi)
Thurparkar remains as one of the poorest regions in Pakistan where 90% of it's inhabitants live on just one meal a day. With the scorching heat and scarcity of water, the vegetation in this region is close to none. This is the only time of the year that the majority of it's people will have the benefit of eating meat.
Fulfill the obligation by giving your qurbani in the desert region of Thurparkar, Sindh Pakistan.
Humanity Welfare Trust's Chairman, is on the ground and will be overseeing your qurbani.
The prices for qurbani are as follows:
£105 - goat
£350 - cow or £50 per share
£575 - camel or £83 per share
