Give Ramazi a second chance in life

Donation protected
I wanted to express my greatest anguish. Please read fully as I need your support. This is about Natalie (or as we call her Nato), a childhood friend of mine. We grew up in the same neighborhood in the Republic of Georgia and she is one of the most lovely, loyal, and compassionate people I've ever met. Natalie lost her father when she was in her twenties. A few years later, she lost her brother to suicide. The loss of her brother so soon after the death of her father was devastating, but Natalie got back on her feet. She met her spouse and had a gorgeous son, Ramazi. As things were looking up for my beloved friend, her husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness and died not long after Ramazi was born. Natalie, who was just 32 years old at the time, is now widowed and a single mother, without a father or siblings. A month ago, I received a phone call that is every parent's worst fear. Ramazi, Natalie's son, has Ependymoma, a rare brain tumor. He was transported to the hospital for emergency surgery because the tumor had swollen and caused Ramazi to seize. Due to additional post-surgery complications and technological limitations in the Georgian healthcare system, doctors urged Ramazi to seek treatment outside of Georgia. Turkey is the nearest country where this child could be treated. Natalie took all of her funds, placed the child in emergency medical transport, and went to Turkey. Natalie is a single mother who is doing everything she can to save her 10-year-old son. We are hopeful that he would recover if the proper treatment is given to him. The only thing separating the child from death are medical funds. Natalie, as a sales clerk, is unable to come up with the entire sum. I need two things from you. 1) donate to the GoFundMe account that I set up; any amount helps. 2) Distribute this post to your network, parent groups, and friends. Any of these two approaches will provide this child a second shot in life, a chance to return to school, play sports, and be the wonderful mama's boy he has always been.
