Help Sam Williams daughters put him to rest

Did. I think my daddy know it hurt me but I think he just as broken as me now cause he got to watch me break. My daddy broke at the loss of my brother and now he with him breaking at watching all his girls break. It’s taken days to write this but I know my daddy keeps pleading for me to let go. So imma just follow my heart and the right words will just come cause he will help me know them. Anyone that knew my daddy and I had we had this unique bond to just feel each other even if I’m at work I could call and tell him what he was thinking. I think I fear the most in loosing that but I know God is telling me I won’t. Rihanna stay came on and I know my daddy telling let go cause I am screaming he should have stayed. He was loosing his mind and around and around he went confused missing his son so sad and we just wanted him to stay. His life wasn’t one worth living that way so I know he saying he is in a better place although we just wanted him to stay. Y’all I know my daddy is saying we must find a way to not keep asking him to have just stayed. My daddy took his wings and now he whispering baby girl be strong in here always and he will guide me out of my fear. I am writing to ask for any donations anything honestly counts. I want to get my daddy cremated and do with his ashes what he laid on my heart to do. I also want to give my the most beautiful going away/birthday gathering. I was planning him a small surprise birthday party and now I want to make it as big one I ever could. Anyone know my daddy..and almost everyone does…knows he can’t stand people but he’s the life of the party just like his girls! Please help me send my daddy off the right way give him the peace he deserves cause he left not wanting us to be sad. Please help me and any way to celebrate and even if you can’t give please just give a pray for me family!

Samuel Leandrew Williams Jr., aged 67, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Chesapeake, Va. Born on December 18, 1956, Sam (Also known by many as “Skip”) was known for his larger than life laughter, his ability to work a room with his stories and smile, and his strong desire to live life on his own terms.

Samuel served in the Navy in 1974 at the age of 17, and if you knew him well you have probably heard the story of how he ended up there many times. In the next season of his life he stepped into a career in Auto body work and never looked back.

He was a man of many interests, including Going to the range, Fishing with friends and his brothers, and Sketching in his books in his free time. Skip also dove into his love for cars on a personal level through Antique car shows where he attended as a judge, a spectator, and a friend in support of others displaying antiques that he often helped work on or paint. Above all, he enjoyed time spent with his family.

Skip is survived by his daughters, Tashina Mora, Rashawna Brown, and Kirsten Norman; his ten grandchildren, who adored him lovingly as Papa; and his siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alverta and Samuel L. Williams Sr., and his son, Brandon Salo.

A celebration of life will be planned by his children. Samuel's life and legacy will be honored in a manner befitting his memorable and impactful presence in the lives of those he touched.
