Give Simi a Chance to Keep Loving

We are Jake and Alicia from California. We are trying to raise funds to help pay for our cat Simi who was diagnosed with a tumor and needs surgery to remove it and stop any spread from occuring. We received an estimate from her vet of $3,700 for removal and biopsy. Here's the story from her perspective.

My name is Simi, but I also go by Sim, Simi-cat, Meow, Meow-cat, Window-cat, Simanimani, and many other cute names. I'm 12 years old and my two loving parents, Alicia and Jake, found a small growth on me that turned out to be a Mammary Tumor. My vet suggested it was best for me to have it removed, but unfortunately seeing as I've been unemployed for 12 years as a stay at home kitten, I can't afford rent let alone my surgery. Mom rescued me 12 years ago when I was a kitten and works hard as a bartender. Dad adopted me a few years ago when he met mom and works hard as an EMT, but they don't have enough set aside for my surgery just yet and could use some help.

I would like to spend some more time with my family and having help to pay for my surgery would allow me that. I have so many activities I want to continue; like laying in the front window bird watching.

I have so many places I still need to nap on; like mom's beanbag chair.

I have so many life goals and aspirations I'd like to pursue, such as becoming a model. I call this pose "Just woke up from a catnip nap," it's adorable and earns me treats but a work in progress.

Overall, I'm not done giving love back to my mom. She found me when I was just a little lost kitten in a barn and rescued me. I was very sick and she saved me. I am forever grateful and want to continue loving her for all that she has provided me.
