Give Tanya a Lift into a New Set of Wheels

Who am I? My name is Tanya. I am an active, tenacious, warmhearted, hardworking and fiercely independent woman living with Cerebral Palsy. I  am a dancer and choreographer, who is passionate about her art. Supporting my community and empowering others is important to me so I volunteer with a few disability advocacy organizations. But I will soon to be car-less without some help. My 2005 Toyota Matrix has 186,000 hard-earned miles on it. The check engine light is always on now; my car's fading fast. More importantly, it no longer meets my accessibility needs. Why you ask? In order to preserve my function and maintain my active lifestyle, I need to use my power chair. The only problem is I can't transport it without a vehicle with a lift. I have pursued state assistance and was told I do not qualify. I am starting this Go Fund Me to buy an accessible van.  Your help will allow me to continue to be independent, which is my primary goal!
