Give Tara Quality Time

As many of you know, Tara Ullman McCaffrey (single mom to 11-year-old Caleb and 9-year-old Jacob) has entered hospice care for end-stage leukemia. She has been bravely fighting this illness for 7 years, but at this point, covered treatments are no longer effective. Without financial assistance for clinical trials, Tara's prognosis is just four months.

We are raising funds to help her care for and enjoy quality time with her children for as long as possible. This might include:

- Preserving memories for the boys (stuffed animals with Tara’s voice, videos of her, trips together, and possibly funeral expenses)

- Covering living expenses, such as food, medications, and the boys’ education (since Tara is unable to work)

- Medical trials (these are paid out-of-pocket and start at $25,000-50,000 a month)

- Overnight nursing care so Tara can stay in her home
