Rain or shine, I've been right there, side by side, witnessing every goal, every fall, and every step towards his football dreams.

From Backyard Kickabouts to Football Magic

Our journey through football has been a tale of passion, growth, and fierce determination. From those early days of chasing a ball, Jaiden's transformation into a true football artist has left me awe-struck. Together, we've braved endless roads, unpredictable weather, he has broken fences, lost countless footballs and we have shared the entire spectrum of emotions. And today, I stand before you, humbled by what he's become and eager to share a remarkable chapter in his story.

A Collision of Dreams - Jaiden's Big Break

Imagine the heart-thumping excitement Jaiden's feeling right now. He's been picked for something absolutely mind-blowing – a place at an international football academy program. Forged by the collaboration of South Shields FC and the University of Sunderland. This isn't just an opportunity; it's like a collision of dreams.

Jaiden's getting to live the life of a pro footballer and immersing himself in the world of professional football while pursuing a Master's degree in Sport and Exercise Science. The carefully crafted timetable is designed to maximise the time available on the pitch and he can expect to train in a professional footballing environment with incredible coaching for a season. For him it's a recipe for dreams coming true!

He has always wanted to become a professional football player, he has always showed a high level of skill and talent but has often been overlooked. A late grower he was often one of the smallest on the team, but always made an impact. He has had his share of setbacks, when he was younger he was selected and played at Charlton Athletic Advanced Centre and was released at 16, he has played locally and played at County level. At 16 left school and joined The Sturridge Academy and studied BTEC Level 3 in sport, because he didn't want to give up on his dream, only for the course to fail to run in his second year, so he had to switch colleges and finally concluded his course at West Ham foundation.

He started playing men's football after completing a few successful seasons playing for his University and has continued to hone his craft. He was selected to represent England University Sport and got to play at St George's Park. In this time I have seen him grow from being a little energy ball who loved the game and would always give 100% to a refined and technically and tactically sophisticated player.

He has developed his game , his speed, his power, his composure and his effectiveness. He has played almost every position except goalkeeper but has become a highly effective RW player. He took some time off last year to focus on completing his degree, he has always given his best at education but has always said that he is just not that good. He broke that perception by achieving a achieving a BSc Honors in Sport, Physical Education and Development (2:1).

As a father of five, I give my kids all of the support that I can. But this monumental opportunity comes with a challenging timeline - We have thankfully been able to split the payments into 3 we have made the 1st payment but still need help with the remaining funds by 20th November and the rest by January 2024. My resources stretched thin, and need your reinforcement. I simply can't make this happen on my own.
