Give the Nielson Family a Baby! - (IVF)
Donation protected
Good morning, friends and family! I am sorry the video is 5 minutes long. I was a bit nervous lol… please be patient♥️♥️♥️
For the past two years, Ryan and I have been navigating the world of fertility treatments. Although, IVF has not been an option due to the cost, we've undergone several IUI procedures. We recently applied for a financial grant through our clinic, to help with IVF costs. It brings us knee dropping excitement and puppy dog tears, to announce we got it! Among all the families that applied, WE GOT IT! This is an enormous honor, that brings a much needed surge of hope.
We're are so grateful. Between academic endeavors, embarking on new career paths, IUIs that didn’t pan out, contemplating adoption, and surgeries, the costs have been steep. Managing treatments on our own, particularly with time (aka my age) ticking against us, felt almost too daunting to manage.
Yet, I must share some tough news: Although the grant covers much of the IVF expenses, it does not cover everything, and we're still facing a significant shortfall for the full treatment amount. Medications, anesthesia, and follow-ups are all not covered. This is where we turn to you, our incredible support network, for a helping hand. We’d be crestfallen if this incredible opportunity passes us by simply because we couldn’t rise to the challenge.
It's not in my nature to ask for help, but the dream of motherhood is powerful for me. More powerful than words can express. Ryan and I have a boundless amount of love to give, and we dream of a big, lively family. Parker, my stepson, often shares his wish for more siblings. It feels intimidating to ask, but this is our shared dream.
Every little bit helps, truly—any donation is a gesture that carries us further towards our goal. We ask you to contribute to our "Give the Nielson Family a Baby!" fund if you're able.
Let's raise a toast to the future messiness and stinkiness of a new baby!
