Give This Kitten a Fighting Chance: Medical Funds Needed

This little stray kitten visited the vet today, and at just 1.5 pounds, she’s fighting some serious battles. Sadly, due to severe trauma, her eye will need to be removed to prevent it from rupturing. We are hoping to save her other eye but at this time we have to wait and see. She’s also been diagnosed with a severe upper respiratory infection, and while she’s receiving antibiotics, her surgery can’t be scheduled until she heals.

The cost of her medical care—including vet appointments, surgery, and medication—is significant and I can’t do it alone. Every penny raised will go directly toward her treatment to ensure she gets the best possible care and has a chance at a healthier, pain-free life.

Here in Waco, Texas, there are many stray cats and dogs. I try to do my part by feeding 15-20 stray cats daily, on Sunday 10/06/24, I encountered a heartbreaking situation. I managed to trap and secure a severely ill kitten who is fighting for her life.

One of the most critical issues right now is the kitten's bulging eye, which will have to be surgically removed. We're hoping to save the second eye with urgent medical care. On top of that, the kitten is suffering from a respiratory infection, struggling to breathe with severe coughing and wheezing. Without immediate life-saving interventions, this kitten won’t survive much longer.

But there’s hope. With your support, we can get this kitten the emergency medical treatment she desperately needs-eye surgery, respiratory care, and long-term treatment. This sweet soul deserves a chance at life, a warm bed, and a future free from pain. Every dollar will go toward vet bills, medications, and ongoing care to nurse this little fighter back to health.
